UTAG Business (What are we up to?)
The Utah Association of Geocachers is always busy with:
- Geocaching...
- Small local events -- coming soon to a location (hopefully) near you.
- The Fraternal Order of Geocachers (FOG) has adopted a section of the Bangerter Highway as part of Utah's
Adopt-a-Highway program.
- We've sponsored several families in the Sub-for-Santa program every year.
- We donate to local food banks through many of our events.
Our Official Mission Statement
The Utah Association of Geocachers (UTAG) strives to advance the sport of geocaching throughout the state of Utah.
We endeavor to accomplish this mission by:
- Encouraging fellowship and fraternity amongst Utah geocachers through regular social activities.
- Fostering geocaching etiquette and responsible stewardship of our public lands.
- Raising public awareness and understanding of geocaching through effective use of media relations.
- Ensuring access to public lands for geocaching activities by working as a liaison with public land-use agencies.
- Promoting geocaching as a worthwhile family-oriented outdoor activity.
