- Select a game to play from the list of active games at the bottom of this page.
- The GAME PAGE will list all the possible Suspects, Weapons and Places for that game and
the coordinates where you'll need to look for a Code Word (usually stamped on a 1" metal washer).
- The hidden Code Words for all the Suspects, Weapons and Places in a single game are located in the
general area indicated in the name of the game.
- Pick one or more of the Suspects, Weapons or Places and note its coordinates. Go and find the
Code Word at the given coordinates and write it down.
- Return here and enter the Code Word in the corresponding field on the GAME PAGE
and click the "Verify Code Words" button to see if you've found all or part of the Solution to the Mystery.
- If the Suspect, Weapon or Place is part of the solution to the Mystery, the Result will say:
"You Got It!", otherwise it will say "Sorry! Try Again." If you enter the wrong Code Word, it will say:
"Wrong Code Word".
- What you will see when you have correctly identified all three parts, the correct Suspect, Weapon and Place,
depends on how the Game Host designed it. Options include: (1) You may get a GAME CODE WORD that you will need
to enter on the CLOO GAME Cache Page to claim your find; (2) You may get a congratulatory message which may
include the Coordinates to a Reward cache; or (3) both options.
- IF YOU GET A GAME CODE WORD: Go to the CLOO GAME Cache Page, look for and select the link to take you to
the CODE WORD Entry Page and enter the GAME CODE WORD you were given. It will then send a notification
email to the Game Host to let him/her know you successfully solved the Mystery. After you've entered the correct
GAME CODE WORD on the CLOO GAME Cache Page, you can then enter a "Found" log for the cache. Unverified "Found"
logs for the CLOO GAME Cache may be deleted if the Game Host doesn't receive the GAME CODE WORD. NEVER include
the GAME CODE WORD in your log message, even if encrypted.
